About Us
DragonBet is Wales’s leading independent sportsbook and casino. We’re a proudly Welsh business offering a modern, digital-first betting experience, backed by traditional bookmaking values. We’re just over two years old, growing fast, and building something exciting with a tight-knit team of 38 people. As we scale up, we’re looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our customer acquisition strategy and lead digital campaigns that drive real results.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for planning, running and optimising paid digital campaigns (Google, Meta etc.), with the goal of converting new users into active customers. You’ll also work across commercial partnerships — helping us build strong relationships with sports clubs, affiliates, influencers, and media platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll need to combine creativity with data, and where flexibility is key; as we continue to grow, you’ll be involved in a range of marketing activity across the group. Working in a team of five you’ll work closely and report to the Head of Marketing, and have day-to-day links with the Social Marketing Exec, the Graphic Designer and the CRM/Retentions Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage paid digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads etc.)
- Track performance and make improvements to increase conversions
- Manage budgets, reporting and campaign ROI
- Identify new digital opportunities and target audiences
- Build and manage partnerships (clubs, media, affiliates, influencers)
- Negotiate deals and monitor performance of partner activity
- Support wider marketing activity as part of a small, agile team
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience running digital ad campaigns with strong results
- Solid knowledge of performance marketing and conversion tactics
- Good with numbers — confident tracking and analysing campaigns
- Commercially minded — able to spot and build win-win partnerships
- Positive, adaptable and hands-on attitude & an interest in sport is a big bonus
Nice to Have
- Experience in betting, gaming, or sports marketing
- Knowledge of Welsh or UK sports landscape
- Experience using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or affiliate platforms
What We Offer
- £40,000 – £55,000 salary (depending on experience)
- The chance to be part of a fast-growing, independent company
- Career progression in a high-growth, performance-led environment
- Predominantly based M-F 9-5 in the Cardiff office. If looking for a remote or predominantly home based role please don't apply as office based in currently key for the start-up feel & energetic culture
- Involvement in exciting sports partnerships and events
- Regular incentives at restaurants, sporting & hospitality events
