Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a well-established construction business who are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a team of three while overseeing the day-to-day finance function and supporting the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of three
  • Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and statutory reporting
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight and financial analysis
  • Drive continuous improvements to finance processes and reporting
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and operational performance

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Previous experience in a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
  • Construction, engineering or project-based industry experience is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
