Description
We're hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain web applications that solve real problems for our users. You'll work across the stack, ship features end-to-end, and collaborate closely with product, - Design, build, test, and ship features in production code
- Review pull requests and contribute to a healthy engineering culture
- Debug and resolve issues across the stack
- Collaborate with product and design on requirements and trade-offs
- Maintain and improve existing systems, including documentation and testsdesign, and other engineers on a small, focused team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship features in production code
- Review pull requests and contribute to a healthy engineering culture
- Debug and resolve issues across the stack
- Collaborate with product and design on requirements and trade-offs
- Maintain and improve existing systems, including documentation and tests
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- 2+ years building production web applications
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Go) and one frontend framework (e.g. React, Vue)
- Comfortable with relational databases and version control (Git)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A pragmatic, ship-it mindset with a bias for simple solutions
