We started as a specialist commercial dispute practice in Birmingham, built on straight answers, fixed fees, and no surprises. It started with one qualified lawyer, Gareth-Lee Smith. Since then, his team has grown to three, but we still want more. By the end of the year, Pinpoint Lawyers will be an SRA-authorised law firm and we want to offer a wide range of services.
We’re looking for the first self‑employed lawyers in who will build Pinpoint Lawyers from the ground up.
We’re looking for solicitors, barristers, or CILEX lawyers with real experience in:

- Wills

What We’re Looking For
Qualified solicitors, barristers, and CILEX lawyers with provable experience in any of those areas of law.
It would be ideal if you have an existing consultancy for us to supplement while we ramp up our marketing, but if you want to jump in feet first with us as your first consultancy, then that’s great too. We can also introduce you to other law firms who can supply work to you outside of our agreement.
Lawyers who can communicate well through social media, articles, and even the medium of video. We are generous with the knowledge that we give to the public, in the satisfaction that it is our excellence in execution that sets us apart.
Lawyers who recognise the value that they add, and then charge accordingly. We have no plans to join the race to the bottom. We charge a proper fee for valuable work done well.
If you currently bill by the hour, that’s fine - we just want you open to exploring fixed fees as part of the value‑pricing model that we pursue. When you bill based on your hourly rate, you’re capped by the number of hours you can work. When you bill based upon the value you provide, your earnings are completely uncapped.
Lawyers who know that the practice is a business. Aged debt has no place in our firm, and when we get paid then you’ll get paid within 24 hours.
