A highly-successful Electrical Contractor is looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their project-delivery team based out of their Head Office. They work mainly within the high-end residential sector in and around London and the South East with project values up to around £3m.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical background, either from the tools or from an education background. You will need excellent technical knowledge and also strong financial management experience.
Roles and Responsibilities- Oversight of the company's multiple ongoing development projects.
- Develop a close relationship with the site teams and a detailed knowledge of your allocated sites by maintaining a visible site presence.
- On-site meetings with clients, site managers and engineers.
- Material procurement.
- Contract management and dispute resolution.
- Assistance with the procurement of sub-contractors.
- Attend relevant project design, pre-start, specification, and other relevant meetings as required.
- Support the site teams to run a successful development project.
- Highly organised.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Previous/Current experience in a similar role.
- Previous onsite experience.
- A strong knowledge and appreciation of UK building and Electrical regulations.
- Experience managing both internal teams and external clients in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of relevant IT systems and experience with MS Office; strong Excel skills are essential as this is our preferred method of analysis/budget tracking.
