Our Court of Protection team is proudly led by Matthew Edwards, a trusted expert recognised nationally. The team supports clients through every step of this complex and sensitive legal process.
About you
We are keen to hear from a talented and ambitious Lawyer to be part of our busy Court of Protection Team covering Essex and London. Working alongside the team's Panel Deputy, you will ideally have an in-depth knowledge of the Deputy Standards and be able to deal with day-to-day Deputy general management. This includes working with clients who have been victims of serious financial abuse or have complex financial needs. You will also have experience dealing with Court applications for Deputyship appointments, statutory Wills, estate planning, and trust-related matters. You will be required to take part in and initiate marketing, networking, and other business development activities in order to maintain and develop work from both existing and potential clients. This is a unique opportunity to build and develop your existing talents within a highly regarded and results-driven environment. A proactive attitude that puts clients’ interests first, and a mindset focused on finding solutions is a key requirement.
