What you’ll be doing:
- Accurately processing transactions on client and nominal ledgers
- Arranging payments via online banking, including international transfers
- Posting HMLR, HMCTS, and search fees to client ledgers
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Providing support to internal teams and management when needed
- Ensuring strict compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
- Undertaking other accounting duties within the team as required
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar accounts or legal finance environment
- A team player who can maintain professional relationships and communicate confidently both verbally and in writing
- A meticulous eye for detail and a high level of accuracy with numbers
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to work proactively under pressure
- Excellent organisational abilities with the capability to prioritise your workload effectively
- Good IT skills, with the confidence to handle electronic financial systems and client ledgers
- Solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
