As a Legal Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial processing and compliance, working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a busy yet rewarding role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Accurately processing transactions on client and nominal ledgers
  • Arranging payments via online banking, including international transfers
  • Posting HMLR, HMCTS, and search fees to client ledgers
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Providing support to internal teams and management when needed
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
  • Undertaking other accounting duties within the team as required

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a similar accounts or legal finance environment
  • A team player who can maintain professional relationships and communicate confidently both verbally and in writing
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a high level of accuracy with numbers
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to work proactively under pressure
  • Excellent organisational abilities with the capability to prioritise your workload effectively
  • Good IT skills, with the confidence to handle electronic financial systems and client ledgers
  • Solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
