Location: Hybrid working. Open to location where candidate is based . Sites across England. You must be able to travel to sites.
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages? Do you possess the technical sharpness to dissect complex drawings, the precision to execute flawless take-offs, and the commercial acumen to drive strategic procurement?
We are seeking a Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. In this role, you will take full commercial ownership of major CSA packages, working closely with international stakeholders and supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
Measurement & Costing: Execute highly accurate take-offs and measurements directly from construction drawings to build precise cost models and pricing.
Procurement Management: Lead the end-to-end procurement process for major CSA packages, from issuing tenders and analysing returns to negotiating contracts and finalizing awards.
Drawing Interpretation: Demonstrate an exceptional ability to read, interpret, and challenge architectural and structural drawings, identifying potential commercial risks or value-engineering opportunities.
Commercial Delivery: Manage variations, progress valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts to ensure projects remain profitable and on budget.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically managing CSA packages (Civil, Structural, Architectural).
Technical Expertise: Exceptional skills in reading drawings, measuring, and completing detailed take-offs.
Procurement Strength: Strong, demonstrable experience in strategic procurement, subcontract management, and commercial negotiation.
Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (RICS accreditation is a plus but not mandatory).
