About the role
This is a senior, hands‑on position where you'll lead the delivery of transportation and civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
Coming from a consultancy background, you'll be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, providing technical leadership and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Experience with road maintenance projects will be highly regarded, as this forms an important part of our workload.
Some of your responsibilities will include
- Delivering transportation and civil engineering design projects.
- Managing projects from planning through to completion, including programmes, contracts and client relationships.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while supporting future business opportunities.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers across the business.
- Ensuring quality outcomes while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety.
About You
You're an experienced engineering professional who enjoys building strong client relationships just as much as delivering quality technical outcomes.
You thrive in a consultancy environment, understand the importance of collaboration, and take pride in delivering practical solutions for your clients.
You will ideally bring
- 8 or more years experience in civil engineering or project management within a consultancy environment.
- A Civil Engineering qualification —CPEng accreditation is a definite bonus.
- Experience delivering transportation, roading, land development or three waters projects.
- Previous involvement in road maintenance projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage clients, contractors and internal teams.
