We are looking for motivated, reliable, and customer-focused drivers to join our new and fast-growing logistics operation in Coalville. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Van, fuel, and insurance provided – no upfront costs
- Competitive daily rates: from £121.50 per day ranging up to £146 with potential for performance-related bonuses
- All deliveries within a 30-mile radius of the depot
- Training and development provided
- Van's and uniform supplied
- Load and unload your van at the depot
- Complete your route within a 9-hour shift (from depot departure to return)
- Follow efficient routes to deliver parcels safely, on time, and efficiently
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
- Conduct daily routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability
- Deliver parcels to residential and business addresses using a provided van
- Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
- Self-employed contract
- Shifts: Up to 6 days per week
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries
