Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to join our facilities management team based at a large NHS site in Portsmouth. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
Your role will involve working in the laundry department as well as deep cleaning industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with cleaning equipment, chemicals and within sensitive environments. This is a part time evening position where the hours are 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities will include:- Cleaning tasks include damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming and touchpoints. Cleaning offices and Clinical rooms
- Cleaning toilet facilities, and hand basins, replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
- Waste management – collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas
- To work in the onsite laundry department – providing an adequate clean and constant supply of workwear to all users which can include sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing, folding.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
- Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment. Prefer knowledge of COSHH, Chemicals and risk assessments.
- Experience of buffer machine/scrubber dryer is an advantage
- Experience with work to tight schedules.
