Pinnacle Group are looking for a Housing Team Manager to join our Affordable Housing team, leading and developing our regional property management function to deliver a consistently high‐quality service for our residents. In this key role, you will support the Regional Head of Partnerships, drive operational performance, uphold compliance standards, and build strong, meaningful engagement with residents and stakeholders across multiple sites.
Our Affordable Housing team manages a nationwide portfolio of new and existing homes, including affordable and social rent, shared ownership, and supported housing. We deliver housing services on behalf of institutional investors, registered providers, and local authorities – combining commercial insight with a strong social purpose to support vibrant, inclusive communities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced housing professional with a strong background in affordable housing and social housing management, bringing hands‐on experience of working within compliance‐focused, resident‐centred environments. They will have a proven track record in leading multi‐site teams, delivering KPIs, managing tenancy processes and ensuring consistent service standards. With excellent knowledge of housing legislation, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to high‐quality resident engagement, they will confidently guide property managers, drive performance improvements and champion an exceptional customer experience. This is a hybrid role with travel to all London Regions.

Who we’re looking for

Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and support the property management team to deliver consistent, high-quality service across all Affordable rented properties.
- Oversee all aspects of the tenancy lifecycle, including viewings support, move-ins, tenancy renewals, tenancy changes, and move-outs.
- Conduct staff 1-1s, internal operations meetings, and support external stakeholder engagement as required.
- Oversee the completion and accuracy of monthly KPI reporting packs, ensuring timely submission and alignment with management contracts.
- Support the Regional Manager in preparing for and delivering client reporting, including KPI documentation and performance updates.
- Review and support property managers in managing budgets, issuing demands and reporting on expenditure in line with client and resident expectations.
- Collaborate with the Technical Services Team to ensure all sites remain compliant with legislative and safety requirements.
- Work alongside the Lettings Manager to ensure a seamless tenancy journey, with property managers actively engaging new residents.
- Partner with the Mobilisation and Projects Team to support the onboarding of new sites, rent reviews and tenant satisfaction surveys.
- Manage monthly invoicing across contracts, ensuring internal revenue streams are accurately and promptly invoiced, with oversight from the Account Director.
- Support property managers in the development and delivery of local customer engagement strategies, ensuring these are implemented effectively to achieve market-leading satisfaction levels.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience within affordable and social housing settings, managing teams and operations to a high standard.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, compliance requirements and operational best practice.
- Skilled in producing, reviewing and analysing KPI to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Experienced in budget management, reviewing expenditure and issuing service charge demands.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate teams and deliver exceptional customer service.
- CIH / ARLA qualification (or similar) or willingness to undertake relevant professional qualifications.
