Pinnacle Group are looking for a dedicated Housing Officer to manage and support our residents effectively. You will be joining our Homes team based in Birmingham. Your responsibilities will include handling tenant inquiries, managing housing allocations, ensuring compliance with housing policies, and addressing any issues that arise within the community. You will need excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of housing regulations, and a compassionate approach to customer service. This role requires frequent travel to Turn Hill, Shrewsbury, Shawbury and Kineton. The working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupancy cycle services including pre-move out, move out, pre-move in, move in, and 14-day observation visits, ensuring high standards and collaboration with industry partners.
- Work in partnership with RAMS to ensure homes meet contractual move-in standards, providing families with high-quality housing and a welcoming service.
Ensure move-out standards are met, applying recharges fairly and diplomatically using an evidence-based approach.
Identify and resolve health and safety concerns in homes and communities, contributing to a holistic patch service for families.
Liaise with local agencies, charities, and military support services to deliver joined-up support for families.
Support large-scale and short-notice moves, including regional/national travel and covering colleagues’ absences.
Lead and assist in resolving complaints and occupancy breaches, including drafting reports and formal responses.
Maintain accurate records in all operational systems, ensuring high-quality casework and compliance with procedures.
Key requirements:
- Full driving license
- Prior experience in public or private sector housing management, or a customer service-focused operational environment.
- Demonstrates commitment to and passion for providing enhanced services to service families
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
