Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Hard FM Manager to lead all Hard Services operations within the Clacton PFI Contracts, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and contractual specifications. The role involves overseeing Hard FM services provided both in-house and through external contractors, supporting the delivery of a Total FM-focused contract, and driving lifecycle planning, implementation, and performance monitoring in collaboration with key stakeholders.
You will join our Total FM team based in Clacton, which provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health, and living sectors to ensure optimal facility operation.
This is a full-time role requiring travel to 3 schools within Clacton. An enhanced DBS check will be necessary prior to appointment due to the nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Management of specialist contractors.
- Act as Responsible and Authorised Person for specialised operations.
- Line management of Assistant Hard FM Manager and 3 Site Managers.
- Assist in the development and operation of the Company’s Safety Rules and Procedures.
- Identify opportunities for contract variation works and review of Life Cycle plans.
- Develop technical skills within the in-house caretaking team.
- Manage utilities to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Prepare technical and contractual reports.
Key Skills
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (essential).
- Proven experience in a technical management role within Facilities Management (essential).
- In-depth knowledge of building services systems (HVAC, electrical, BMS, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving license.
