Pinnacle Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Homes Income Team within our Homes Division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong MRI Qube knowledge to support the accurate administration of tenant accounts and income transactions. Working within a busy team, you will be responsible for ensuring receipts are allocated correctly, accounts are reconciled efficiently, and financial information is maintained to a high standard.
Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.
The Ideal Candidate will be an experienced Accounts Assistant with a strong understanding of property or housing finance processes. You will have hands-on experience using MRI Qube, be confident working with large volumes of financial data in Excel and possess excellent attention to detail. We're looking for a proactive individual who can manage their workload effectively and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
This is a temporary hybrid position for an initial period of approximately three months, with the potential to be extended depending on business requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Process and allocate receipts accurately within MRI Qube.
- Complete bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain tenant accounts and tenancy information.
- Raise charges and ensure records are updated in line with tenancy agreements.
- Support month-end and periodic finance activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and account information.
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the team with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of MRI Qube.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience posting receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within housing, property or real estate would be advantageous.
