We are looking for someone not so ordinary for Barista PLUS Cafe Service and Chef or Cook or Kitchen Maestro. A Barista - Cafe lead person who can balance technical coffee skills, the personality of a 1960s soul‑searcher, and the energy of a fitness coach. A unique opportunity for a very different approach on the local cafe scene at The T2 vDub Cafe and BarBossa Galley & Rum Bar, offering casual dining cuisine with international vibes—Asian noodles, dim sum, burgers, pizza, tacos.

Skill sets required:
This role involves food order preparation, presentation and various trading hours spread across mornings and evenings preparing hot and cold beverages with face‑to‑face customer engagement.
The Vibe Curator:
The Café Stage: An authentic 1967 Split‑Screen VW Van inside Pinnacle Fitness Studio. The Mission: Fueling the fitness community and the local public with 60s soul and high‑performance caffeine and healthy food choices. BarBossa: a casual scene with a relaxed feeling, comfort food, beer and rum concoctions. The Hotel Lounge and Bar serves up exciting cocktail creations and food fare to suit a harbour‑facing, vinyl‑playing lounge.
Are you the one?
- Knows their Beans: You can pull a perfect double‑shot and froth milk like an artist.

Chef credentials:
- NVQ Level 2 Food Production certificate or equivalent.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy, client‑facing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.
- Flexibility to work under pressure and across various shifts and service times.
- Strong leadership abilities, setting and maintaining high standards.
- Proficient in time management and organisational skills.
- Analytical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to implement innovative solutions.
- PC literate.
- Advanced Food Safety or Health and Safety qualification.
- A genuine passion for food, produce, and hospitality.
