Overview
You will lead and deliver D&B contracts for a regional main contractor, guiding projects from preconstruction through delivery. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive commercial success while developing team capability and maintaining strong client partnerships. You’ll work on education, healthcare and commercial schemes, shaping outcomes through effective leadership and procurement know‑how. This role offers a stable, regional opportunity with a growing pipeline and meaningful project impact.

Responsibilities
- Manage D&B, framework, two-stage and negotiated contracts from preconstruction to delivery
- Build and lead cohesive project teams to achieve common goals
- Coach and develop team members to higher performance
- Maintain strong commercial oversight and risk management
- Assist with tendering and preconstruction activities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to secure successful project outcomes
- Coordinate across education, healthcare and commercial sectors
- Ensure daily commuting to Woking, Surrey for project sites
Key requirements
- Degree qualification or other relevant construction qualification
- Experience with reputable main contractor
- Experience on new build and refurbishment projects
- Track record in education, healthcare and commercial sectors
- Strong leadership and ability to build high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills
- Experience in D&B, framework, two-stage and negotiated contracts
- Preconstruction knowledge and ability to assist with tendering
- Full UK drivers license
- Able to commute to Woking, Surrey daily
