We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Manager, to be responsible for leading and managing all quality assurance and quality control activities across construction projects, ensuring compliance with the Integrated Management System, client requirements, and relevant industry standards. The role supports the delivery of safe, compliant, and right-first-time construction outcomes while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans in line with company policies, ISO standards (ISO 9001), and client specifications
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across all phases of construction
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Manage inspections, audits, and quality reviews; track and close out non-conformances
- Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to embed quality standards
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation
- Support defect prevention, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior leadership clients
- Support handover, commissioning, and final quality documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts)
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects

- Actively support Zero Harm culture
- Ensure quality processes align with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Challenge unsafe or non-compliant practices and support corrective action
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Quality Management role within construction
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Experience working on large, complex infrastructure or building projects
- Ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with experience engaging clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001) desirable
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CQI, CIOB) advantageous
