Overview
In this role you will recruit Civil Engineering management professionals for contractors, supporting expansion into a new Waterloo office. You will develop your own section, headhunt top talent, and work closely with senior management to drive billings and growth. The position offers an uncapped commission structure and training to sharpen headhunting skills. You’ll operate in a professional, non-corporate environment with strong growth potential and team-building opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Recruit management staff within Civil Engineering for large national and regional contractors
- Headhunt candidates across multiple Civil Engineering disciplines (PMs, E&M, QS, estimators, etc.)
- Develop and grow your recruitment section and potentially manage your own team
- Collaborate with senior management to execute strategic growth plans
- Build a strong pipeline and close high-value placements
- Contribute to the expansion of the Waterloo office and the broader business growth
Key requirements
- Experience recruiting management staff within a Civil Engineering recruitment desk
- Entrepreneurial flair and high motivation
- Strong communication skills
- Good working knowledge of the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sectors
- Ability and desire to headhunt perspective candidates
- Willingness to grow with training support if headhunting experience is limited
