Overview
In this role you will drive the recruitment of senior civil engineering professionals, shaping a dedicated desk within our Waterloo office. You will work closely with senior management to grow the Civil Engineering recruitment segment, headhunting candidates for roles such as Project Managers, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors. The opportunity includes leading your own team and benefiting from a high-commission, non-micro-managed environment. You will contribute to our growth by applying strategic, entrepreneurial recruiting approaches.

Responsibilities
- Recruit management-level civil engineering professionals across disciplines
- Headhunt and attract senior candidates for contractor roles
- Develop and grow your recruitment desk with support from senior management
- Build relationships with large national and regional contractors
- Identify and engage candidates for roles such as PMs, Commercial Managers, Bid Managers, Engineers, QS, Estimators
- Manage or contribute to a team as you scale the desk
- Deliver high-quality candidates to clients with strategic, proactive methods
- Leverage training opportunities to improve headhunting skills
Key requirements
- Experience recruiting management staff within Civil Engineering recruitment
- Good working knowledge of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sectors
- Entrepreneurial flair and strong motivation
- Ability and desire to headhunt perspective candidates
- Willingness to develop skills through Pinnacle training
