Looking to speak to Estimators for our client, who are delivering major infrastructure works across National Grid projects. This role will focus on schemes including Linear Cabling, Substations, Civil Engineering works, and Overhead Line (OHL) projects. They are open to experienced Estimators who are ready to take the next step in their career and transition into a Senior Estimator position or established Senior Estimators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for complex civils projects
- Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Develop pricing strategies and risk assessments
- Liaise with clients, supply chain, and internal teams to ensure competitive submissions
- Support bid submissions and presentations
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
Project Scope Includes
- HV/LV routes
- Substation construction and upgrades
- Civil engineering works within energy infrastructure
- Overhead line (OHL) projects
