Overview
In this role you will lead the delivery of gravity and pressurised wastewater system projects across Sussex and Kent. You will manage full project lifecycles within the Southern Water framework, ensuring safe, high-quality, commercially successful outcomes. You will coordinate design, delivery on site, and client relationships while maintaining program accuracy and CDM compliance. The position offers exposure to utility-scale projects and cross-functional collaboration to drive project success. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on safety, quality and schedule.

Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pricing to delivery, including client relationships and scope/budget control
- Design, direction and supervision of operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Procure plant and materials and ensure safe practices at all stages
- Create and maintain project program aligned with client expectations and CDM requirements
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other business areas to obtain information, licenses, and permits
- Prepare project documentation (CPP, RAMS) and manage CDM compliance
- Provide progress reports to internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with the commercial team on scoping, pricing, contracts, and change control
- Perform additional duties as required
Key requirements
- Water/utility network experience desirable
- Valid Driving Licence
- IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate
- CSCS
- Degree / HNC / NVQ Level 6 Engineering / Construction Management
