Overview
In this role you will support a growing construction contractor's commercial team from St Albans, focusing on new build steel-framed industrial/warehouse projects. You’ll manage commercial aspects across projects with values from 2m to 10m and be prepared to travel to sites across London and the Home Counties. The position offers a permanent role within a dynamic, expanding contractor and enables you to contribute to cost control and project delivery. This opportunity suits experienced QS professionals looking to work on multi-site industrial schemes and grow with the company.
Pay / Benefits
- salary: 50,000 - 55,000 + package
Responsibilities
- Manage QS duties on new build industrial/warehouse projects
- Prepare cost plans, valuations and variations for projects (2m–10m)
- Monitor cost control and financial reporting for projects
- Coordinate with site teams and stakeholders during site visits
- Support travel to sites across London and Home Counties as required
- Contribute to commercial risk management and procurement activities
Key requirements
- Experience with reputable Main Contractor
- Track record on new build industrial/warehouse projects
- Steel frame experience
- Able to commute to St Albans and travel to sites as required
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications (ideally)
