This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager in Greater London to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team delivering high-quality, high-value construction projects across a variety of sectors.About the RoleAs Site Manager, you will have a wide and varied remit, taking full responsibility for the safe delivery of medium to large scale construction projects in Greater London, on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record across commercial, retail, healthcare, education, refurbishment or new build projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial:Maintain a full understanding of the building contract, project stakeholders and scope of works for each sub-contractor packageLiaise with the Project Manager and Project Quantity Surveyor on works outside the agreed scopeUndertake material and equipment orders in conjunction with the project quantity surveyorOperational:Issue and close out permits for various work activities on siteManage utility provisions, diversions, upgrades and protection worksMake necessary applications to the Highways Authority for road openings, skips and welfare facilitiesManage applications to utility companies for temporary water, drainage and electricity connectionsOversee any off-site Highways works and manage the process with relevant partiesQuality:Raise NCRs for poor quality works and manage resolutionEnsure sub-contractors compile, issue and close out Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Compile and manage snagging lists through to close outHealth & Safety:Ensure full compliance with current Health & Safety and CDM legislation across the projectUndertake the role of Temporary Works Coordinator where applicableEnsure labour-only sub-contractors are properly assessed with Method Statements and Risk Assessments in placeWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:CSCS/CSR cardSMSTS qualifiedDesirable:First Aid at WorkProfessional construction qualificationExperience:Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial, retail, healthcare, education, refurbishment and/or new build projectsDemonstrated ability to manage and control subcontractors in line with programme, safety and environmental legislationExperience of temporary works proceduresAbility to produce short-term programmes and operate effectively within a team environmentWhy Apply Through Pinnacle Recruitment?Pinnacle Recruitment is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy connecting experienced construction professionals with leading contractors across Greater London and the UK.
