Site Foreman / Manager - Fitout

A Major construction contractor is seeking a Foreman / Site Manager to work on a multi million pound project based in Somerset. As a Foreman / Site Manager you will have a build background and provide supervision of the works and control of a team comprising of Gangers and direct labour force. Supervision and control of the works of Subcontractors throughout the project duration. What you\’ll be doing As a Finishing Foreman you will: * Provide supervision and coordinate the work team * Allocate daily responsibilities and communicate updates * Guarantee all safety and quality measures are met throughout the project * Input into the production of Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments * Provide suggestions and recommendations for Temporary Works solution * Identify potential hazards and proactively implement actions and controls * Monitor the performance of plant operators * Carry out Safety & Environment Tours. Who we\’re looking for As a Foreman you will have: * Proven experience of working as a Foreman * Experience of Construction/New Build/ Fit Out related project * CSCS/SSTS/SMSTS Gold Card * Good health & Safety knowledge * Tier 1 experience would be beneficial As part of a lucrative Salary the succesful candidate will recieve a comprehensive package and development plan
