Job DescriptionSite Engineer\ N \nNight Shift, 10pm to6am | 37.5 hours per week\ N \n£36,426 basic plus 25% night shift bonus = £45,532 total\ N \nHungerford\n \nThe Site Engineer opportunity We are recruiting a Site Engineer for a well-established food manufacturer on the Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hampshire border, just south of Hungerford.\ N \nThis is a hands-on night shift role keeping the whole site running, covering planned and preventative maintenance as well as getting stuck into breakdowns as they happen, across all machinery and equipment on site.\ N \nReporting to the Chief Engineer and Production Manager, you will be part of a small, close-knit engineering team where you will see the difference you make. For the right applicant, there is significant potential to progress within the business.\ N The Site Engineer package \ N \n £36,426 basic salary \ N Plus 25% night shift bonus \ N £45,532 total \n 37.5 hour week \ N Night shift, 10pm to 6am \ N What you will be doing\n \ N Attending mechanical breakdowns and assisting with machinery adjustments \ N Diagnosing and repairing faults \ N Maintaining machinery maintenance programmes and records \ N Helping to maintain aninventory of spare parts \ N Keeping the workshop clean and tidy, and controlling tools on site \ N Maintaining and improving the building fabric \ N Providing holiday and sickness cover \ N Deputising for the Chief Engineer and assisting with clerical matters as needed \ N Completing all documentation relevant to the position \ N Liaising with Managersto help implement and enforce company policies and procedures \ N Ensuring compliance with relevant UK law \ N Other duties as required \ N What we are looking forin a Site Engineer \ N \n \n A sound educational background \ N Mechanical and engineering experience \ N A customer first attitude \ N Good communication skills \ N PC and analytical skills \ N A personable, positiveand professional manner \ N Site Engineer Desirable \ N \n \n City
