Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to join a main contractor within the Water & Utilities sector. This role be covering sites across London and the South East. Salary – £50,000 – £60,000 Role summary * Administration of NEC3 contracts * Maintain contract project documentation * Attend weekly and monthly commercial meetings at a project level * Monitor change control at a project level * Liaise with the programmer(s) at a project level * Pre, during and post contract liaison with clients and supply chain * Supply chain negotiation and letting package of work * Manage and value variations/ CE’s * Preparation and submission of monthly valuations * Preparation and submission of final accounts * Preparation and submission of project tenders including follow up * Develop and maintain relationships with relevant client representatives and the supply chain * To carry out any other duties appropriate to this post Requirements * BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, with experience in an NEC contract environment * Demonstrable understanding of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work * Proficient working knowledge of NEC 3 main and subcontract contract forms (essential) * Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential) * Strong user of Excel, charts, pivots, lookups and sheet automation If you are interested and want to hear more, apply today
