Overview
You will join a dynamic, growing main contractor to oversee on-site commercial activities for a £20m industrial and commercial project in Bedford, including infrastructure works. Working closely with a full commercial team, you’ll help manage costs, contracts and reporting to keep the project on track over ~50 weeks. This role sits at the intersection of site delivery and commercial excellence, offering impactful exposure across industrial and refurbishment contexts. You will contribute to a successful delivery that supports long-term client relationships and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Support on-site commercial activities and reporting.
- Assist with cost control and contract administration alongside the on-site commercial team.
- Coordinate with the site team to ensure smooth project delivery and change management.
Key requirements
- Degree qualification or other construction qualification (ideal)
- Extensive experience with a reputable main contractor
- Experience on industrial and commercial projects (preferred)
- Excellent commercial skills and awareness
- Full UK driving licence
