Pinnacle Recruitment is hiring an experienced MEP Site Manager for a leading construction contractor operating across the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an MEP Site Manager based in or around Greater London to join a high-performing team delivering complex, high-value projects.
About the Role
As MEP Site Manager, you will take ownership of the mechanical and electrical works across large-scale construction projects in Greater London. You will be a key member of the site management team, ensuring M&E packages are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor works and packages
- Coordinate M&E works with the wider civils, structural and architectural site management team
- Liaise with the Building Services Manager, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on scope-related matters
- Review sub-contractor Method Statements and Risk Assessments and monitor compliance
- Issue and close out permits for M&E and other work activities
- Monitor ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements
- Raise NCRs for poor quality works and manage resolution
- Ensure sub-contractors compile, issue and close out Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Compile and manage snagging lists through to close out
- Manage utility provisions, diversions, upgrades and protection works
- Make applications to the Highways Authority and utility companies as required
- Undertake the role of Temporary Works Coordinator where applicable
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- CSCS / SMSTS qualified
- Valid UK driving licence
- Electrical and/or Mechanical Trade Qualification
Desirable:
- First Aid at Work
- BIM experience
- Knowledge of BG6 and RIBA Stages
