Job ID: 10068Region: Manchester, North WestA specialist piling and ground engineering contractor is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Analyst to undertake designs and analyses for tender and contract purposes, as well as having a responsibility for leading and maintaining technical excellence internally and externally and providing technical support and training as required. The role holder will have specific responsibilities for undertaking numerical analyses and development of design tools to support the Ground Improvement discipline.The role will be initially based in the NW regional office with the view of being more hybrid in time working from home, site and the officeMain Duties consit of:Prepare competent and competitive designs for piled foundations, ground improvement schemes and contiguous embedded retaining walls.Undertake design and contribute technically on larger, more complex engineering projects, working both as an individual and as part of a team.Produce competent design reports for projects, up to CAT 3 checking level.Liaise with clients to ensure designs are Eurocode/BS compliant and compliant to Scheme Engineer’s performance specification requirements.Liaise with site / operations team to ensure designs are executed correctly. Provide technical input to NCR remedial works as required.Contribute to research and development within RBLAssist other employees with design and technical queries, including support and mentoring of less experienced engineers.Produce presentations and supporting documentation to assist learning and development of others across the business.Troubleshoot site occurrences and help to set the design policy for RBLContribute to the improvement of design spreadsheets and design procedures.Keep up to date with current design standards and developments and design approaches.Support team members to ensure design standards are followed and meet the technical requirements for projects.As part of a lucrative salary the succesful candidate will recieve a package including car or allowence, pension and health care.
