The successful candidate will be working for a company that undertakes projects from 400,000 to 60,000,000 and will work within the contractors’ award winning Civil Engineering department.Key Responsibilities:Management of site staff, operatives and sub-contractorsProvide method statements, risk assessments and project management plansUnderstand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgetsPreparing and monitoring programmes of workFoster good relations and reputation with clientsManage design co-ordinationAssessment and engagement of sub-contractorsManage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contractsSupervise, mentor and assist in the career development of junior staffThe company encourage a great work/life balance and thus offer a competitive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance cover, company pension scheme, childcare vouchers and a “cycle to work” scheme (for those keep fit souls!).Candidate Requirements:Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or similar10 Years’ Experience in Civil Engineering working on highways, structures and infrastructureExperience of working in schemes worth 7M-10MAdvantageous if you possess flood and river protection experience but not necessaryA fantastic opportunity for those that want to further progress their career within the Civil Engineering Industry.
