Job ID: 2504Salary: 80-90k+pkgLocation: East LondonRegion: LondonSenior Project Manager – Civil Rail – CP5 – East London – Main Contractor – 80-90k+pkgOur client is one of the largest civil engineering companies in the UK with renowned experience in the successful delivery of technically demanding, multi-disciplinary civils projects.Due to picking up a lot of Civil Rail Work they are now looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to work on the CP5 based out of East London and then eventually going on to the CP6.To be considered for this role:You will need a Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Previous experience on Civil Rail Projects for a UK Contractor10 years+ UK Civil Engineering ExperienceCurrently be in a Senior PM, Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Project Engineer RoleProjects will be based only in London and Outer LondonThe RoleReporting directly to the Operations Director Overseeing projects from start to finish Project planning, budgeting and identification of resources required Building teams, developing goals and objectives and assigning responsibilities Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular progress meetings with the stakeholders Ensure projects documents are in order Co-ordinate all parties involved in the project To maintain a high standard of health and safety on site and within the companies health and safety policy To control all site activities and deal with any site problems or queries To manage project within budget and on time To maintain a high standard of finish on the projectThe successful candidate will have:Proven experience in a Senior/Project Manager/Contracts Manager or similar role in a main civils contractor environment Ability to demonstrate a track record of experience in dealing with clients at a senior level Significant post qualification experience of project management of civils/rail works of 20 million plus 10 years+ Civil Engineering Experience
