They have been established for many years and are recognised as one of the most reputable main contractors in the industry.They are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead financial tenders from the initial cost plan stage through to final negotiations. The Senior Estimator will need to be experienced with two-stage tendering, be very strong on cost planning and have a strong track record working on residential projects for a reputable main contractor or developer.Key Responsibilities:Detailed Cost PlansCollating and preparing KPIs and benchmarking to assist in cost plan preparationPreparation of Bills of QuantitiesPreparation of house / flat type schedules / BoQsAssisting with the coordination on specialist subcontract procurement packagesPrepare and tender packaged and procure items of work in preparation of cost plansEstablish and maintain a library of cost dataTo investigate the suitability and price of new products / methods and undertake cost comparisonsTo liaise with all departments to ensure that data and build knowledge is utilised within the cost plansExperience and Qualifications:Ideally Degree qualified or other professional body membershipStrong track record working for a reputable main contractor or developerA good understanding of the residential housebuilding sector is essentialStrong commitment to achieving deadlinesPositive attitude towards teamworkAble to commute to North LondonFull UK driving licenseIf you are a Senior Estimator and feel that you would be a good fit for this role, please apply with an updated CV or call Rob Apps on: 020 7401 88861
