With a turnover of 480m in an enviable position with a healthy forward order book is looking for a Civil Rail Project Manager to join their Regional office near Milton Keynes, working for our Rail Infrastructure team on the Minor Works Framework and various projects for Network Rail. It is vital that you have a history of working on civil engineering projects within a rail environment and you will be from an Engineering background, preferably with a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering, a CSCS card and PTS. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to get the most out of the people working for you. Knowledge of the North Wales Network Rail Region would be advantageous but not essential.Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to:Controlling safety, quality & environmental activitiesSite SupervisionDelivery of works to program & budgetProducing Health & Safety plans & Work Package PlansWriting Risk AssessmentsTemporary WorksPre-start site inspectionsPlanning (including road closures and possessions)Tool box talks & HSEQ briefingsProviding plant & materialsClient liaisonPaying a basic of 48,000 β 60,000 and a package offering:Competitive basic salaryCompany car or car allowanceFlexible benefit schemePaid holidaysSupport in Training & Development
