Job ID: 6795Salary: 79,500 plus car plus bonusLocation: LondonRegion: LondonEstablished Residential Developer urgently require an “Affordable Housing Manager” to work withing the Land & Development team.The company have a track record for for delivering large sites across London, there is an element of ‘affordable housing’ within all of these developments and the purpose of this role is to dispose of the affordable housing element to an Residential Provider or Housing Association.The role will be split into 3 elements:Relationship ManagementYou will have made a number of key contacts within Housing Association & Residential Providers. You will know who will be most suited to the affordable housing element of major sites. You will have already built up an extensive list of contacts within these organisations and will know what they are looking for and what they wish to build out.Building ContractYou will be very familiar with negotiating Land & Build Contracts, you will be familiar with the specifications and able to manage the relationships you have with the RPs & HAs. You will need to be familiar with pre-contract set up, financial management and on going day to day progress monitoring and reporting.Project HandoverYou will be familiar with handover of units to customers on various different phases of the scheme.The ideal person could be from a variety of backgrounds. You could be a Land Manager who has moved away from doing deals and now works on affordable elements of schemes and releasing these to HA’s, you could be from a Commercial background currently working with an RP or HA or even an EA (Employers Agent) currently working for a HA or RP.This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast moving, established developer as their sole affordable housing lead. you will quickly be able to establish yourself by utilising your contacts and skillset to deliver the affordable housing portion of all sites.
