We're looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of rail projects across reactive, planned, and framework-based works.
You'll drive operational excellence, support continuous improvement, and lead high-performing teams while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of current and future rail works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, IMS functionality, automation, and system integration.
- Drive initiatives that optimise performance, reduce risk, and improve project outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Essential Requirements
- Proven project or works delivery experience within the rail or transport sector.
- Experience delivering reactive and framework-based projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple sites.
- Good knowledge of rail safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- APM, PMP, or PRINCE2 qualification.
- Experience working within Network Rail or similar client frameworks.
- Knowledge of IMS, HSQE, and governance requirements in rail delivery
