Job ID: 5868Salary: 45,000 plus benefits packageLocation: LondonRegion: LondonFollowing the recent award of the High Speed 2 station packages in London, we are seeking Quantity Surveyors seeking a challenging career on Europe’s largest infrastructure project.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to progress their career working within the rail sector.Candidate Profile – What are we looking for?Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial ManagementPrevious UK based experience working with main contractors, ideally on station build projectsAt least 5 years commercial experienceFamiliar with various forms of contracts, mainly NECRoles & Responsibilities Set profitability targets with the team, develop procurement strategy, and regularly produce financial progress reportsTimely procurement, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts in accordance with procurement strategy.Secure the best possible (value and timing) payments from the client in order to maximise cash flowEnsure that payments are applied for and received in accordance with the contractMake sure that the client is always aware of our financial and commercial expectationsEnsure that all necessary insurances, bonds, guarantees etc are in place.
