Over the years they have continuously evolved, and are one of the most reputable builders in the high end residential sector carrying out prestigious projects to the highest quality.They carry out new build developments, refurbishment projects, extensions and alterations throughout South West London and the surrounding areas.
Regardless of the project, the aim remains the same; to exceed their clients’ high expectations.
Client focus and an uncompromising attitude to quality of finish are the driving forces behind the success of their business.The Quantity Surveyor will be working on the new build development side of the business, and will be involved in procurement, sub-contracts, contract accounting and valuations, working alongside the Commercial Manager and Contracts Manager to procure the various items on the project and to bring within budget.Ultimately the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for maximising the gross margin on the company’s building contracts by working with the Commercial Manager and Contracts Manager, accurately assessing costs during delivery of the contract and in justifying to and claiming from clients all contractual payments due to the company.Key Responsibilities: Meet the contract programme in conjunction with the Critical Path Schedule to prepare and despatch tender packages to sub-contractorsMaintain all necessary recordsCollate sub-contractor tenders, analyse and after which, in consultation with the Contracts Manager, award sub-contractsCheck and approve sub-contractors’ claims for paymentsLiaise with sub-contractors to resolve queriesAssess and cost variations to contract on a regular basis and update the Variations
