Overview

In this role you will join a growing main contractor’s social housing team to deliver estimates for new build, fit out and refurbishment projects across multiple counties. You will contribute to a framework with Housing Associations, shaping cost plans for projects up to 10m and ensuring value, reliability and quality. This is a dynamic, expanding business where your Estimating expertise helps drive growth in social housing delivery. You will work closely with the team to support competitive bidding and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop cost estimates for social housing projects (new build, fit out, refurbishment)
  • Contribute to cost planning within a framework with Housing Associations
  • Support bid stages and value engineering for project opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions (London, Oxfordshire, Bucks, etc.) to ensure accurate estimations
  • Maintain awareness of project scopes, schedules, and risk to inform pricing
  • Assist in maintaining framework relationships with Housing Associations

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in a Social Housing context
  • Track record with Social Housing specialists or main contractors
  • Experience handling project values from 500k to 10m
  • Knowledge of housing association frameworks and procurement processes
  • Strong cost planning and estimating capability
  • Ability to work in a growing, dynamic environment
