Overview
In this role you will join a growing social housing team within a main contractor, delivering cost and quantity insight across new build, fit out and refurbishment projects. You will work on projects valued between 500k and 10m, supporting Housing Associations through a framework. This is a dynamic, expanding business offering a permanent position with opportunities to shape cost strategy and delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value, reliability and high-quality workmanship in a housing-focused portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide Estimating or Quantity Surveying expertise on social housing projects
- Manage project values from 500k to 10m across new build, fit out and refurbishment
- Support framework work with Housing Associations to grow the social housing portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure value, reliability and high-quality workmanship
- Adapt to the expanding and dynamic nature of the contractor’s social housing business
- Based in High Wycombe and contribute to regional project delivery
Key requirements
- Experience as Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
- Track record with a Social Housing specialist Main Contractor
- Experience working on projects under Housing Association frameworks
- Knowledge of cost management and commercial processes in construction
