Overview
As Bid Writer you join a South East main contractor’s Bid Team to secure new business.
You will craft high-quality PQQs, ITT submissions and bid documents tailored to client requirements, supporting growth across housing, healthcare and education sectors.
You’ll work with cross-functional teams to enhance the company profile and win bids, contributing to sustainable building goals.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a structured Bid Team to identify and pursue opportunities
- Prepare PQQs, ITT responses, and bid documents tailored to client requirements
- Enhance company profile to generate new business opportunities
- Support production of marketing materials to showcase capabilities
- Monitor market opportunities and adjust bid/tender strategies
- Contribute to tender submissions for private, social housing, healthcare and education sectors
- Liaise with Marketing, Construction, Design, Estimating and Purchasing to develop bid documentation
- Ensure publication processes and systems align with bid submissions
- Attend training and skills improvement courses as identified
- Audit and maintain current technical and commercial information in a bid library
- Facilitate cohesive teamwork within the Bid Submissions group
- Arrange feedback meetings with clients and disseminate learnings to the Bid Team
- Pursue opportunities to promote company activities and seek new business

- Experience as a Bid Writer or in bid/tender documentation
- Ability to produce high-quality PQQs and ITT submissions
- Strong written and presentation skills to convey capability to clients
