Overview
As Bid Writer, you will craft professional bid responses to support highways term maintenance contracts. You will gather material for pre-qualification and tender submissions, manage deliverables to meet deadlines, and help develop win themes from strategy sessions. You will update case studies and value reports, and produce material to aid business development. This role blends writing, collaboration with subject matter experts, and a strategic focus on winning proposals.

Responsibilities
- Produce bid responses to secure highways term maintenance contracts
- Gather and write material for pre-qualification and tender submissions
- Manage deliverables and workshop participation to develop storyboard and drafts
- Capture bid win themes from strategy meetings and workshops
- Write responses to SQs or tender questions
- Keep project-specific case studies and value reports up to date
- Create bespoke material for business development and account management
- Research and write supporting information for proposals (case studies, CVs, best practices, innovations)
Key requirements
- Excellent written English and strong verbal communication
- Experience in work-winning/tendering environments
- Knowledge of proposal writing techniques
- Proficiency in Word and MS Office
