We are looking for a geotechnical consultant for a contractor who delivers innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK. The projects are large-scale civil works on rail.

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Consultant/Engineer to join our London team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide geotechnical expertise across a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical assessments, site investigations, and risk analyses.
  • Provide design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and earthworks.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design calculations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support project teams from concept through to delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Chartered status (CEng/MICE/ICE).
  • Strong experience in geotechnical consultancy or engineering roles.
  • Proficient in geotechnical software and design standards.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
