Job ID: 7456Salary: 60,000 - 75, 000 + PkgLocation: DartfordRegion: Essex, Kent, South East, SussexA Civil / Highways contractor are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within their Highways team responsible for a D&B Highways project within the southern region.They are successful in delivering a number of high profile projects and to accommodate available workload and future expansion we have exciting opportunities for Project / contacts Managers to work on projects within Highways, highways frameworks and infrastructure.Requirements·Experience in working in a variety of civil engineering sectors including roads/highwaysHNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering·Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiativeResponsibilitiesTo profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction where possibleTo plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective mannerTo coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the divisionTo ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safelyTo jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staffTo liase with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clientsTo deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance reputation and look to further businessTo assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Commercial ManagerAbility to manage all personnel within your control professionally and effectively
