This project has just hit the ground and the hiring manager is looking to interview candidates as soon as possible.Candidate Profile – What are we looking for?Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial ManagementPrevious experience working for main civil engineering contractorsTrack record of delivering your own high value projectsExperienced in managing a commercial teamTrack record of increasing profit marginsExcellent understanding on the NEC form of contractRoles & Responsibilities To manage and supervise the commercial function and employees within the Sector on all allocated contracts in order to ensure financial performance meets targets set out in the Business Plan, whilst maximising returns.To provide a functional responsibility and report to the Head of Commercial / Commercial Manager on commercial and contractual matters as well as providing the same to Customer Project Managers (CPM’s) on all operational requirements to support the Project Manager.Ensuring Cost reporting is accurate and completed on timeDevelop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally and to promote and protect the contractors reputation whilst remaining customer focused.Exercising sound judgment around the production of monthly reports utilising the CVR process, to achieve a good financial return in line with expectation and ensuring that commercial teams give both the respective Project Manager’s and the Head of Commercial
