I have a great opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join an award-winning Main Contractor on a permanent basis, based out of their Southern region near Woking, Surrey. The company operates throughout central and southern England, delivering quality D&B, new build, refurbishment and restoration projects up to £15m in value. They have been around for many years and have formed successful long-term partnerships with their clients by delivering efficient, high-quality projects. The work in a number of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Restoration, Commercial, Industrial and Sports and Leisure.
The company has a huge pipeline of work and is looking to bring in an experienced Contracts Manager. The ideal person will be familiar with D&B projects, will have worked on both new build and refurbishment schemes and ideally covered projects within the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors.
Experience:- Ideally Degree Qualified or other relevant construction qualification
- Experience working for a reputable Main Contractor
- New build and refurbishment experience
- Track record working on projects in the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors
- Ability to achieve successful outcomes through building strong teams who work together for the common good
- Able to coach and develop team members to a higher level of personal performance
- Strong commercial skills and awareness
- Experience in D&B, framework, two stage and negotiated contracts
- Preconstruction knowledge and able to assist with tendering
- Full UK Drivers’ license
- Able to commute to Woking, Surrey on a daily basis
