Utilities Project Manager
Location: Redhill | Salary: Up To £60K + Pkg | Regions: London, South East
We are currently seeking a Utilities Project Manager to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing a variety of civil/utilities engineering sectors with a primary focus of Utilities based projects.
Role will be based in London with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.
Responsibilities
- Management of emerging risks and opportunities through the project life cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in activities within the immediate team and wider team.
- Lead and develop a high performing team focused on briefing and delivering specified outputs in an efficient, effective and commercially sound manner.
- Initiate and develop communication and strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Progress reporting against, time, cost and quality.
- Commercial management and forecasting.
- Delivery of the project against time, quality and cost requirements.
- Act as the main and central point of contact managing contractors and suppliers to deliver best value solutions to agreed programmes.
Qualifications
- Degree level or equivalent education (preferred).
- Experience working on large projects and previous supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of traditional construction activities is essential.
