Job Overview
A leading, award-winning, nationwide residential developer is seeking a Technical Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis, based in East London.
The company is one of the largest house builders in the UK, building a wide range of properties and providing infrastructure such as roads, sewers, landscaping, and community facilities.
Responsibilities
The Technical Co-ordinator will work on multiple projects, preparing technical information and providing support to achieve regional objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of site viability studies
- Resolution of technical issues identified during the planning application process
- Commissioning surveys and reports
- Supervising and monitoring consultants on post-acquisition work
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations and NHBC standards
- Identifying the most cost-effective and practical solutions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in coordinating and managing technical guidance and support for residential developments
- Leadership skills, with the ability to manage meetings and teams
- C.I.A.T qualification (ideally)
- Degree, HNC, or ONC qualification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Projects, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of design, engineering, and construction
- Understanding of building regulations, NHBC legislation, and planning legislation
- Strong health and safety knowledge, including CDM regulations
