We are currently seeking a Utilities Project Manager to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing in a variety of civil/utilities engineering sectors with a primary focus on Utilities based projects. The role will be based in London with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of emerging risks and opportunities through the project life cycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in activities within the immediate team and wider team.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team focused on briefing and delivering specified outputs in an efficient, effective and commercially sound manner.
  • Initiate and develop communication and strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Progress reporting against time, cost and quality.
  • Commercial management and forecasting.
  • Delivery of the project against time, quality and cost requirements.
  • Act as the main and central point of contact managing contractors and suppliers to deliver best value solutions to agreed programmes.

As an experienced Project Manager, you will ideally be educated to Degree level, have experience working on large projects and have previous experience at supervisory level. Knowledge of traditional construction activities is essential. Please only apply if seeking a permanent role.
