Seeking a Sub Agent working on LUL, Network Rail and TFL rail contracts. This role would suit an individual who is currently in a Sub Agent position or a Civil Engineer/Section Engineer looking to take the next step into management.
It is essential to be from a Civil Engineering background and applicants are likely to have a minimum of an HND in Civil Engineering. It is vital that you have a history of working on a variety of civil engineering projects within a rail environment. You must be able to coordinate designs and plan jobs using Primavera P6. Knowledge of the TFL Quality Assurance procedures is also desirable.
Candidates are required to hold/have held the following tickets:
- ICILU/Lucas
- PTS
- LU Track Awareness
- CSCS
Having a valid First Aid & SMSTS would also be beneficial.
Reporting to a Project Manager, duties include but are not limited to:
- Controlling health, safety, quality & environmental activities
- Delivery of works to programme & budget
- Site Supervision
- Setting out
- Site record keeping and paperwork
- Writing WPP’s & Task Briefings
- Producing Method Statements & Risk Assessments
- Pre-start site inspections
- Planning (using Primavera P6), including road closures and possessions
- Design Coordination
- QA procedures
- Providing plant & materials
- Client liaison
